The Rocky Mountain College Music Department Presents a Festival of Lessons and Carols

BILLINGS — The RMC music department welcomes in the holiday season at the annual Festival of Lessons and Carols event on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at First Presbyterian Church (13th and Poly). There will be two hour-long performances, beginning at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

The concert has been a tradition of Rocky Mountain College for more than 30 years. RMC President, Dr. Bob Wilmouth, and other representatives of the College will read the nine “Lessons of the Christmas Story,” interspersed with music performances by RMC choir, music faculty, and guest musicians. RMC choir alumni join in singing the traditional processional.

Music department faculty participating in this year's event include Jen Bratz, piano; Jim Bungert, percussion; Carolyn Coefield, soprano; Travis Hale, saxophone; Laurel Linde, clarinet; and Steven Hart, conductor.
