RMC to hold faculty recital on February 17 at 6:00 p.m.

BILLINGS, February 2, 2017 – Rocky Mountain College will hold a Faculty Recital on February 17, 2017, at 6:00 p.m., in Taylor Auditorium, Losekamp Hall, on the RMC campus. RMC Associate Professor of Music Dr. Jen Bratz, pianist, and RMC Voice Instructor Carolyn Coefield, soprano, will present a recital of American Art Songs and Samuel Barber’s “Knoxville: Summer of 1915.”

This recital will be a preview appearance for the duo before they travel to Portland, Oregon, to appear as guest artists at Pacific University on February 21st at 12:00 p.m. and Portland State University on February 23rd at 12:00 p.m.

Recital repertoire will include music by American composers, including selected works by Libby Larsen, Jake Heggie, Aaron Copland, and Samuel Barber.

Special guests will include Lynell Kruckeberg, soprano (for the Billings recital), and Angela Niederloh, mezzo-soprano (for the Forest Grove and Portland recitals).

This event is free and the public is cordially invited to attend.
